Our office has served the Cedar Rapids and Marion area for over 35 years, and our practice has grown as a result of doctors’ referrals and referrals from friends and families like you. We take very seriously our responsibility to work with not only the patient, but also the family dentist, as a team, to achieve the best possible results.

We are active in the communities that we serve. We donate generously to both the schools and charitable organizations financially and with our time. Through scholarships, sponsoring sporting and cultural activities as well as donating our services to those in need, we feel very strongly that the success of our practice relies on the success of the community.

Our goal is to offer the most comprehensive, state-of-the-art orthodontic treatment available anywhere and to deliver it with customer service that is second-to-none. We offer the most up-to-date diagnostic equipment, including digital photos and radiographs. We offer the latest in wire technology to not only make the experience more comfortable but also to reduce the number of visits as well as your time in treatment.

We believe in seeing children as early as age 7 in order to assess their early dental development. Like many orthodontists, we sometimes will use a two-phase treatment approach. Phase 1 is to correct serious skeletal discrepancies and to create an environment where all of the teeth are allowed to erupt. Phase 2 uses braces to guide each tooth into its final position. We will ONLY do a Phase 1 when it is clearly beneficial from a growth or dental standpoint. If we can get the same result by only doing the braces once, then we will recommend waiting. This means fewer visits, fewer issues with keeping teeth clean and a better, healthier process overall!
