Why did you choose this career? What brought you to it and what do you like most about it? I had to get braces for a 2nd time my senior year of high school. As you can imagine, I wasn't excited about starting college with braces, but I had the option of wearing clear brackets and my classmates just thought I was wearing a retainer. Despite initially dreading the whole situation, I ended up looking forward to my visits to Parks and Schmit. I loved that the doctors and staff always seemed to be having fun and enjoying what they were doing. That is when I decided I wanted to work at Parks and Schmit!

I am a HUGE flossing advocate and I believe that it's all about technique. Once you
pass the floss through your teeth, you're not done! You have to wrap
the floss around each tooth and scrape up and down to remove the
bacteria under your gums.

I love spending time with my family and friends. I like anything
outdoors-y... biking, hiking, boating, camping and live music. I have a 5
year old Chihuahua/rat terrier mix that loves to go anywhere she can
with me and I spoil her every chance I get!
